Which methodist church is this? Any details of the event? Or it's only for the church members?
KL Wesley. The one at Petaling Street one at KL. You gotta sign up to be a host it's already too late. They needed to make sure they have enough seats and tables.
But you can come to observe as a guest. It's on Saturday 23rd Dec. Lunchtime (come 12pm for best chance). Sorry I got the timing wrong by calling it a 'dinner'. It's actually lunch.

Am I still reading anything about Christianity??? Christians following the Torah? What is going on man? What have I missed in the Christian scene? Seems like something went wrong somewhere.
Just let them be. Some Christian are still infant, so they will go by natural reasoning which is to obey the Law. But You already know spiritual truth, so don't let what people say, sway you
I thought only those who follow Judaism follow the Torah. First time I hear this. I wonder if new Jewish convert
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4298650/+540 Actually for me, Ive no qualms if you don't mind to mix with protestants..just that I come to understand RC prefer to Isolate themselves from us...I don't know why.
If it involves a councilor, I don't think its just an RC thing. It's possible that he has social anxiety issues. The best place to start due to his background would be a youth group
Guys, how do you explain the concept of predestination?
Are some people created just to be condemned to hell? I had heard the answer "God is God, who are we to argue?" But we don't know who's predestined for what.
Also, how do we know we are predestined for where, if the doctrine of total depravity means we can't conceive the truth at all. What if we live thinking we're right, but in reality wrong?
I'll be honest. It troubles me deeply ever since i heard these from Calvinists. Could i be the one predestined for hell? Or heaven? According to their explanation i would never know because of a human's total depravity.
Ah Pehkay I only remember the first part of your explanation, but not the second.
I still see people teaching this on the pulpit, which means there are unbelievers also. That's probably why some of the other Christian denos think Calvin as herasy
Zaness. The question about killing is a bit too simplistic. It's like saying all soldiers are in trouble. Like it or not, when combat happens, it's either kill or be killed. Capturing their target is ideal. But ideal is called as an ideal for a reason.
Just random musing before sleep... The authors of Psalms addresses God as an actual person. Very personal letters towards someone. Really emotional too.
