I guess so many failed is because 1st they employed the wrong people to do the job or they themselves do wrongly, 2ndly some recon the mistake but reluctant to make changes. This happened too often.Its just like stock market when stock in dropping one should sell to cut damage. But most still wait oneday it will go up eventually they got burned.

I think most just like to sit and wait ..the waiting time to them is short very short... 5-10yrs to them is very short. Or some r very contented .I could say Malaysian swiftlet farmer are very sincere n contented n charitable  people. 10 or 20 nest in few years they r very sastisfy. And the spend ten of thousand to wait for something that never come.

So no wonder the farm increased so fast , llike mushroom.

Some even know the promblem but just reluctant to make changes.

The estimation is about 20% of the 8 nest p/sf . So estimate 1 nest p/sf consider very very safe already lah .But most time 1 nest p/sf also can not happen what. U r right let them do what they want don't distrub people rice bowl.  Better have beer at night n enjoying harvesting.

The claim was by the media only. You can claim of anything you want. There're many BH achieve better results than that. 11 months achieved 300 nests all cup nests no corner nest at all also have.

Not only vary from tw 2 tw but also from bh to bh "even 1 identical 1 next door.

Deep undestanding of Af Behaviour and the skill to design BH also not forgeting in-dept knowledge of internal factors "MicrO"

The fungus will deter Af from building nest not onlt that the af will run away too.

When you change yr plank mean u need to knock here and there this all chase the birds away.Understood?

There are thousands like you who attended seminars buy hundred of books n surt the net. If all do think that they can have a successful farm after doing the same like you then the failed rate won't be 90% right.

The problem are all think like you. It is not as easy as you think.

I sometimes may sound hard, but I am telling the thruth. Nothing is free. Those who knew the rules of the game had started once like u. They paid thru their nose ,travelling rain or shine thousands of km ,  begging for info ,uncounted cash used, time ,effords, unsleepless night and thousands more untold sad stories to have acquired the rules.

correct me if I am wrong, just one dude from the net who wants to start a farm and expect to have all these in their finger tips thru just one POSTING in Lowyat?
