s3 is not bad i say, i tried my uncle's Fz7 , i still say S3 Is better,even my uncle said so,he tried my s3.Im S3 IS user also, i tried the zoom , very good for a pro consumer,
Because S3 IS the lens has Ultra Sonic Motor[USM] reduce noise
