Standby time 24hours. SOT 8hrs 44min. 80% n wifi

Dont compare other phone model can get 4g+ here but op5 4g only. Its complicated how each phone model works with the telco towers. Pls compare OP5 with OP5 on same telco side by side.

Im more impressed when im in Hatten Hotel Melaka, my OP5 able to get 4G Band 8 full bar (not 4G+) most of the time while my p10plus only with Band 3 (not 4G+) and intermittent Band 3+7 (4G+) but only 2/4 bars. P10plus support Band8 but never get connected to Band8

Use LTE Discovery to learn what band the phone is connected.no root need for OP5

Correction. For OP5. China,intl and MY set all support the same band. If buying China set just make sure its OxygenOS and not HydrogenOS. Other than that the diff is just the charger pin

So regardless which set you buy OP5. Webe works... I tested on AP intl set for 3days on webe. Detected band 5 n band 40 just fine using LTE Discovery app

Update on the cannot get 4G+ on Oneplus5 on maxis network issue. apparently same issue to users in our FB group.

im back on maxis and im now using OP5 ori set 8GB variant A5000 and cannot get 4G+ on maxis in areas i usually get 4G+ on my P10 & p10+

at least... im now asking maxis via twitter to check is it phone issue or telco issue as other telco
Digi 4G+ no issue. can get 4G+ when it is available
Umobile LTE-A (logo 4G+) also detected in Seksyen 1, Bandar Baru Bangi this morning

requires root. i dont root my phone and yes 4G+ is a combo of bands

Another update based on my twitter complaint to maxis...

I also heard the same problem happen on Celcom network
Digi no problem just cannot VoLTE
U can detect LTE-A
