So, where can I see a OnePlus5 on display & purchase (128GB model) in Low Yat? Any stores there sell these models (or will sell them when they arrive if not yet available)?
I have been a loyal Galaxy Note user since the first model but refuse to pay RM4k+ for a phone that will be obsolete in a year.

I went all around Low Yat yesterday trying to find a unit to get one in my hand before I buy.
The only place with any in stock is the IT Supermarket on 2nd top floor but they don't have any on display - all out the back. They won't let anyone look at them until they have already purchased. And all are the 64GB units - no info or knowledge on when they will get the 128GB version which is what I want.
I buy a lot of stuff online but won't do that for a phone as look & feel are important. So is getting one without a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen or some other problem I would notice before I left the shop. Warranty is one thing but they don't do immediate 1-for-1 swap so you are without a phone for weeks or months.
While the lowyat forum is getting bigger & bigger, the Low Yat shopping center is getting really boring these days - no new or interesting products, foreigners running 90% of the shops and more & more shops closed down. I live almost next door so go there all the time but am looking forward to the MRT opening tomorrow so I can go looking elsewhere - anyone know of any shops near other MRT stations with 128GB instock? :-)

A follow-up on my hunt for a OnePlus 5 that I could actually see before I walked away with it:
The All IT Hypermarket on 2nd top(?) floor of Low Yat had one (lower spec) unit on display & 3 of each spec unit in the stock cupboard.
So I bought one of the 8GB/128GB units and was able to turn it on in the shop & test it (after I had already paid for it).
It seems MUCH faster in 4G than my Note 5 for some reason - downloads from Google Play were super-fast. Haven't see 4G+ on the notification bar though, which I used to see on the Note 5. (Celcom postpaid).
No sign of jelly effect while scrolling.
Phone size is good compared to Note 5. I can hold in one hand and turn on with right thumb and use one-handed most of the time.
