So the entry level 1+5 is about RM200 more expensive than 1+3t.
India 3t is INR30000

I checked the mobile phone price in India compare to Malaysia. Their RRP for Samsung Galaxy s8 is Rs57,900, after conversion is around RM3,845 which is way higher then RM3,299 in Malaysia...

Will we get cheaper price than India for OnePlus 5?

I don't think it will be cheaper than 3t. 3t MSRP is rm2229. 3 was rm1888

I saw their entry prices is 32999 n 35999 for 128+8 ,,

If 2.8k, local dealer just kill oneplus malaysia market,
as s8 is around 3.2 before discout, different is just 4hundred, most 3k buyer will choose s8

Yep, that's true. Can't set too high price, general consumer wouldn't know one plus brand, if set very close to s8, I might as well get s8, disregard the higher specs.

hope the price is lower than 2.5k

i waited from not buying 3t for op5,and i will buy only they keep the headphone jack

but from the teaser,still no sign of headphone jack

if its 2.5k then im sold. its going to be my first time owning a OP brand. cant wait for the super unnecessary 7.5GB of RAM. my body is ready.

Also rumors said only full hd. No good 😒

this time they went all out copy iPhone on design and "full hd" retina screen. they'd say its to have a good battery life. save budget on R&D then sell this OP5 at flagship price. instant profit!

for me if full hd resolution and copy iphone 7 design but price above rm2.5k...sorry no more oneplus for me..

u have to take in serious consideration, our RM VS USD is really bad comparing One Plus One era, i see Taiwan, China even singapore still selling 1+3t at very reasonable prices, we local set is nearly 2.3k ....

Never own OP brand before this, kinda gooding and its look promising.
