QUOTE(Sensui @ Mar 26 2007, 02:48 PM) I'm a fan of Israel's football team. I always keep up to date with their international matches. Don't worry about it mate, it has nothing to do with religion so let's not get into that. I suppose there may be some that doubt if you are a real fan. I personally think it's commendable that you support a nation that isn't a superpower in world football. Ever since they played againts France few years ago I became a fan. Their performance was not bad even though they lost 1-0. They did get trashed by Croatia 7-0 which was quite shocking considering that Israel can play quite well. Hey you people in LYN forum, why do you think Israel is like some bad word? Is it so sensitive ?? I think it is plain stupid to think Israelis are monsters because of some mid-east tension and is bad to support the football team. I'm sure there are many non-Muslims too who support Saudi Arabia's football team. We have this mentality because we live in Malaysia. I have to admit that the only thing I know about Israeli football is Ronnie Rosenthal So, who would you say is your most influential player and what was your best every result against a top side? |

i dunno much about da national squad since most of their players are from da israeli league.
i think there are 2 players from da epl rite? (benayoun n ben haim) it is of note dat they were unbeaten throughout last year's world cup qualifying rounds. although they didnt qualify, it is commendable for a country ravaged by war. |

a bit of googling turned up dis result.
In 2006 World Cup qualifying, Israel finished third in European zone Group Four behind France and Switzerland despite being unbeaten in their 10 matches after four wins and six draws, and failed to qualify for the finals. Coach Avraham Grant announced his resignation on 26 October 2005. After the end of his contract he was succeeded by Dror Kashtan. France 10 5 5 0 14 2 20 Switzerland 10 4 6 0 18 7 18 Israel 10 4 6 0 15 10 18 |

Hmm ok I'm going to ask a question that D.Ed asked me the other day...
Which is the only player currently playing in the premiership to have played in the Conference League and every other division leading up to the Premiership? |
