Out of curiosity, how do you sell it? if a few million turns up in your bank account, won't everyone be suspicious?
*
1. Open private bank account in other country that is crypto friendly (swiss, singapore)
2. Sell all in one shot using reputable / regulated OTC boutique broker in that country, send the cash to new account
3. If still want to stay here, figure out how to declare so you can send back here and spend. Probably can try declare as capital gains and foreign derived income, non-taxable
4. If don't want stay here anymore, migrate like and pump the money there.

They will let you open one? you have no money, only the expected unrealized millions from BTC that might not even be there after the account is open.

So if they let you open one, the next step is to send a few million dollars worth of bitcoin to a complete stranger in the hope that he will deposit a few million dollars in your account, am I right?

With your kind of attitude whatever also susah lah

What attitude, I'm just asking if that is the way you do it smile.gif

Alright frankly speaking, everyone should to do their own due dilligence and research before any action that involves any money.

When dealing with such potential gains, it's best to travel out and meet the banks and brokers in person to see what arrangements can be done.

If we are skeptical of them, they are equally skeptical of us as well. Unless your source of crypto cannot pass their AML/KYC vetting, that's another story smile.gif

maybe someone should try cashed out 100 btc from luno exchanges, who knew

The market depth there won't be able to absorb 100 btc sell in one shot, maybe need to spread out over many trades to avoid slippage. Though their prices look very inviting (sometimes 200+ usd over bitstamp)

Also Luno max per day cash withdrawal is RM300K for Lvl 3 verifieds. They "say" lah, but when crunch time comes, donno oh.

I have learned a very valuable lesson during the rise of mlm.

This thread reminds me a lot of that mlm company thread in /k that reach 20 pages very fast with people sharing stories how they more then double their investments.

But as we found out recently once the collapse that they are actually early investors brainwashing new investors so they can continue earning knowing full well new investors won't even recover their modal.

I could be wrong. But 1 thing I learn is nobody wants to see or help other people get rich. Why was there no 20 pages thread promoting bitcoin in 2010??? Only now when the price is so high suddenly can see many promoting it...

The lessons you learned from encounters with mlm are relevant to this current bull run many different coin supporters will trying to psycho newbies into buy more of their coin,
so they can dump their holdings at higher prices. Different space but the strategy still the same, passing the buck to the next water fish.

The hot thing now is everyone wants to jump into ICO (similar to stock IPO), so far it is lucrative as the ROI can be 5x to 1000x gain when the new coin gets listed on the exchange.
High risk but high gain due to the unregulated nature of the market, everyone should do their own research and don't believe everything so easily.
