I saw in the JPN ROM FlowChart for Non-muslim, applicant need to reside at the district of marriage for 7+1 days before can submit application to the NRD office.

My GF and I both have Penang addressed IC, so we will return to Penang to submit application. But now we are both in KL and do we need to take 8 days leave to just stay in Penang and then only can submit the form?

Can anyone share how does the 7+1 days requirement works? I plan to take 3 days leave to go back Penang, submit form and go back to KL continue work...

Both of you just update the ic address digitally.

Then both can do ROM at putrajaya.

Alternatively, do it at church or temple.
