why does it run so hot? runs hotter than my hdd at 40 degrees under load.

the controller is super fast. for it to be faster near to 4x normal ssd,
can order thin heatsink to couple with it, or there is a blower fan option for pcie option.

yes it might sound ridiculous that HDD need cooling but that's what it generates in order to run that fast

Wow...that a fast one indeed but at 67...it need some cooling to last otherwise. If in the laptop, sure heat up surrounding component. Deal with TS before at LG pulau tikus last time. Good deal from him as usual.

Any review from the people who bought this? Trying to find info is hard since this is an OEM unit.

EDIT - The price point is very enticing, but when you think about the lack of heatsink, thermal throttling will probably set it to half the performance point, especially if used in notebooks. Hence a person with any practical data of using the drive would be very helpful (data throughput under load, temperature etc).

EDITDIT - Grabbed the last unit last Tuesday. Cloned my Windows to the SSD, now everything is working like a charm. Pleasure doing business with ya. biggrin.gif
