Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and am wondering if there is anyone that have setup up a dust extraction project using a Bosch GAS 15 PS. Need advise whether I can get Y connector, reducer and hose that fix the vacuum and the power tools such as the table saw and sander.

Thank you.

Plan to do some woodworking?

The Bosch GAS 15 PS can work on handheld power tools and Bosch GTS10J table saw.
I think when you buy the vacuum it already come with the powertool adapter right?
As long as you use Bosch or Makita powertools the adapter will most of the time works.
Btw why you need a Y connector?

If you plan to suck from machines that generate lots of wood chip like planer and thicknesster, its better for you to make a cyclone pre filter so your vacuum bag doesn't get filled up that quickly.

In Summary:
Vacuum:
small air volume, large pressure. 25-32mm hose. Usually has small dust holding capacity, 10-25 liter.  Suitable for handheld powertools and small bench powertools that are designed for it. Eg: Bosch table saw and miter saw.

dust collector:
Big air volume, small pressure. 100mm hose. Large dust holding capacity, easilly 55-100 liter. Suitable for large stationary machines that generate large piece of wood chips or lots of tiny dusts that can be suck off by large volume of air.
Planer, thicknesster, router, bench sander, band saw.

I use both.
Vacuum for general handheld powertool and floor cleaning.

Dust collector for table saw, band saw, planer, ticknesster.

Hi All, thanks for the reply.

I was thinking of converting one of my room as a woodworking station hence need a better dust collection setup using my existing GAS15PS. That's why I need at least 2 outlet from the vacuum and also new hose setup hence the y connector and reducer. Also I need to setup another extraction from the top of the Table saw.

I even try using a multiple power socket for the auto on/off. Somehow is not working. Think the power strip somehow hinder the detection of the power tool when is on.

Hi Everyone, Happy Chinese New Year.

Need your help. I just brought a pocket hole jig and now I need to get the screw. Can anyone tell me how or which type you use to substitute the std pocket hole screw?
I remember that I read somewhere that they use normal wood screw with washer. Are they using countersunk or round head type?

Tq.
