Ideally before and after use can put a few drops, for lube n rust prevention. I use it to keep my hand tools eg bahco spanners & knipex pliers lubed up to prevent rust.
*
few drop on all the chain part?

my hand saw mostly rusty already due to no supply oil tothe saw..

QUOTE(chamelion @ Sep 15 2021, 11:58 PM)
Dry lubricate. It looks almost like singer oil viscosity.
Motor or bicycle shop should have.

Dont use wet lubricate, sawdust will stick to wet lubricate.
Wet lubricate viscosity look like car's lubricate.

Cooking oil will turn rancid after a while.
WD40 is not a lubricate; it is a water dispenser (water remover).
*
singer oil can use to keep inside the chain saw oil tank?
to keep the chain oil bath ?

not all cooking oil can use isnt?
or only canola oil?

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Sep 17 2021, 06:48 PM)
Ya on the chain part..sprocket.
Its actually SAE 20 mineral oil la for the 3in1 bottle.

Chain tank if ur chainsaw use SAE20 (motor oil spec) then can use that..the tank one see what the chainsaw require
*
sprocket oil ? like photo ?

QUOTE(lucifah @ Sep 18 2021, 09:31 AM)
any oil also can. it is just to lubricate the chain to prevent it from seizing. we always used spent engine oil
*
car service ..the balance oil can use also ?

if put inside the oil tank and keep it isnt good ?
wonder after sometimes will it leak out oil or not ..

thanks ...

That depends on few factors
1. Are you in west or soviet states of MY?
2. Must be Hikoki or open to other brands?
3. Intended use case, everyday use workhorse or its DIY/hobby occasional use only?
*
1.yes ,Kedah
2.open
3.DIY/hobby

thanks .

So (1) no issue even if u order online biggrin.gif

(2)

price wise can probably mix and match bosch to get more tools laugh.gif
bosch is pretty cheap coz of preferential duty I think; and batteries are cheaper than makita
-- sometimes assembling your own kit is better out of solo tools and piecemeal from diff sellers according to pricing, so you can customise what you need if you're not urgent to use it
-- last time I did that and I got a rotary hammer (brushless GBH180LI)+fast charger+4AH procore for 777 (old pricing)
-- add drill driver around 220 (GSB180LI plastic chuck); or GSB18V-50 metal chuck around 320
-- add impact wrench (can open truck 21mm nuts easily) GDS18V-400 around 400 when I got it, now solo tool about 445 on shopee
-- add another battery procore 4AH, now 310
=1900

I have a concern on the 1.3J of the rotary hammer.
Its a bit weak if you do heavy drilling and korek lobang (chasing), but it may be the right amount for those 5.5mm/6mm wall plugs without creating craters in plaster.

(3)
May not need impact driver (the hex bit screwdriver) if you're not regularly driving lag screws into hardwood timber;
since the kit already come with impact driver
meaning to say a drill driver + rotary hammer would probably suffice for all home use.

you don't need to buy everything at once biggrin.gif
*
great explanation....
currently own bosch 12v drill ..less power ..bigger hole hard to drill ..
ya not all tools are needed...some very less use

thanks ...

sincerely, owner with stuck BOSCH 18V system. i have like 5 power drills, 2 impact wrench, 3 hammer drills, 2 grinders, 1 multi tool and basically u have bought ALL of BOSCH punya 18V tools... haihs... really boring
*
u meant ..,makita...milwaukef 18v battery compatible with others brand?

bosch battery only can use for bosch ?

recently installed gutter for roof using bosch gsb120-Li..
very hard to screw gutter bracket into the cement board that in circle ..need to push hard in order to get the screw in ...
screw i using cabinet screw ..

btw...isnt the gutter i installed too low from the eage of roof?will heavy rain water overlap the gutter ?
if yes ..i think need remove and move it up position ...

12v really not for hard work ...
thinking to get 18v ...which is good choice ?

thanks ....

china those all fake v sia
repeating same issue. GSB120 spec at best.

It depends what u want to do..
General use drilling walls GBH 180LI rotohammer should be perfect. Lightweight and no need to struggle with cord not long enough etc.
Keep your GSB120 as screwdriver.

Else if driving screws directly into solid balau go for impact driver.
*
need push hard to screw the gutter bracket to the cement board that in circle ...
gbh180 li too big..but good for drilling ...
looking for drilling...screwing.....
.
gsb18 li good choice?

gsb12 for light screw driver..haha..
thanks ..

cabinet screw normal one right? not self drill screw? that cement board (papan cantik) if use normal screw mmg hard to go in.
*
cabinet screw not consider as self drill screw ?

QUOTE(Minolta @ May 14 2022, 12:24 AM)
Since you have bosch gsb, then can get gdr12. Uses same battery system. For wood or fiber cement, can drill small pilot hole before screw in. Having both drill and driver makes easy change. And going up for roofwork, need to use cordless lah.
*
maybe migrate to 18v series ...
yes roof ...cordless is good ...

thanks ...

More like predrilling needed.. depends on what you're screwing into?
18V should work but idk bout this DCA coz no published Nm spec  laugh.gif

To be honest if you're not using the other stuff often (at home) like cordless grinder it's like pushing you to buy stuff you don't need
My reco is usually just go 18V Bosch, one nice drill driver (GSB 18V-50 for continuous duty hours on end wub.gif or GSB180LI if just light duty) n one cordless rotohammer (GBH180LI).

Because the rotohammer cordless isn't that expensive
You just need investment in one 18V batt (say 4AH) and any 18V charger.
*
yes not always using ....

any other brand recommend?

thanks ..

Its kinda niche thing because hex bits usually only used for socket bits IIRC
We been running round shank bits since forever (for metal/wood) and concrete wall already using SDS+
Hardly have use case for hex bits unless you are using with the home use-end cordless screwdriver
*
using with 12v bosch gsb12

yes ..for home end use ...
