Lol i thought mostly just the carbon brush fail over time but not that expensive to change..

usually the trigger switch too since it controls the speed of the motor

but you can get cheap replacement from china (read: shopee) which is about 1/4 the price of the original part and works as well

I want to buy rotary hammer drill to drill holes in wall, Using for home diy purpose only.

I see MR.DIY selling for ~200. (warranty 15 days); some oem china brand selling <200 (1years). Which 1 is better?
*
if u buy INGCO brand from MrDiy, it is the same OEM with TOTAL tools

TOTAL is the brand name they use for asian market (mostly malaysia?)

INGCO is for western market

at least thats what most people shared. and i find it is true if u compare INGCO and TOTAL side by side (they migh be rip off of each others, but they look pretty darn similar)

X lock Will save time compared to normal 100mm basic one..if you run a foundry or metalworks place. Else not much diff if not used heavily..changing cutting disc only takes 30 seconds with the basic bosch. Most small SME firm get by with the basic bosch GWS 060.. it is quite a workhorse, and most of the time cutting at max speed safer (less jamming risk) than running too slowly. The variable speed may be good if u do more grinding than cutting?

The X lock use 125mm disc..still cute laugh.gif this one still not the big plate size disc ones used in foundry where they really use it all day, everyday.

Big disc can use to cut big size steel in one go. No need to replace disc often smile.gif

Anyway, this X-Lock will not slip if get stuck like the regular one?

Thanks for the feedback. I think I will go for x-lock option as I am one lazy dude biggrin.gif
And I don't have to worry about having a jam disc on it.

So far I heard they have stress test this x-lock mechanism which will not have issue with slippage.

If you don't mind not to have 3rd party disc al alternative for a while, then no problem. I think currently maybe no other alternative available except to buy only Bosch biggrin.gif

So the odd shape center is just to lock against slip only?

I need the variable speed so that I can use it to also scrub my bathroom floor tiles that has lots of stubborn ugly water stains.
