If I'm not mistaken, for worx, Orange is for home user, Green is for their professional line of products.
The vacuum have green and orange from Worx? Fall on grey ?

Anyone can rent me a hammer drill with chisel? I will be using it max 1 day. So renting 7 days is really not a good option for me. My location is around kepong/mont kiara
I want to do the following: 1. 8" hole for exhaust hood 2. De-tiles/shaving 2cm from heightened tiles from the ground as planned to buy and install ikea's metod 80cm base cabinet (just shy away about 1cm plusðŸ˜) |

Good Morning,
my >10 years B&D 12v battery almost kaput. I have check out a few batteries from Ali and Shopee but i doubt with the discharge specification. This is so hard to decide because the drill is fine but the cost of a new battery is very near to getting new lithium drill.. Does anyone know where I can get a reasonable price and reliable replacement battery? Did anyone try to swap the NiCd to Lithium type? Thank you. QUOTE(Zot @ Jan 10 2020, 08:52 AM) This is one of the problem with cordless type it is an old NiCd 12V drill using HPB12 Battery.Battery still available from B&D and it is possible to purchase NiCd battery to diy replace internally. It just the price to get the HpB12 battery is ~RM100 less than getting a new Lithium Bosch. That is why i am seeking to get a reliable NiCd battery locally as the price inc shipping also is not cheap too. older than this but is a similar series. https://www.blackanddecker.com/products/pow...echnology/ss12c QUOTE(yushin @ Jan 10 2020, 09:34 AM) There are people that replace their old power tool NiCd battery with 18650 lithium. Buy from US shipping sometimes cost more than the product itself |

This is mostly true to any product but you also pay extra for after sale services and warranty too, not just material cost. You know the company will still be around at least during warranty period each have their strength. Big brands sell several models even for amateur and pro series. Basically the electronics side are mostly the same. The branded one use more reliable parts but unknown brands also not necessarily using cheaper parts even though they sell for significantly less price. They need to maintain competitiveness. They add like coating for water proofing and some even potting the PCBA like car MCU for more expensive model. The cost is not much more but the top series models bear significantly higher price tag. I know because I do costing on products and my company also do PCBAs for Milwaukee |

How long warranty brand here? I know Dewalt have like 3 years limited warranty. The most reliable is Hilti, the send people to pickup your broken tools within 2 years.
The so called renown brands, to break 1 to 2 times within 6-12 months is normal, so does cheaper tool, nothing special. In US for example, they have the latest model, offer 2-3 times cheaper price than here and longer warranty period. Ridgid, Hikoki is lifetime warranty. 5 years Milwaukee warranty, etc. If you follow Milwaukee fb group page. They tend to do 1 to 1 replacement for broken tools. Thats reliability. |

Here is what I like the WORX vacuum.
Just sit ontop of the table. Hand distance reaches when need it. Small doesn't occupy the table. The design form like a box that differs from the normal vacuum. ![]() |
