ryobi got, but its not found locally, usually i get family members to buy at those megastores (UK/auz) then carry back when they visit for xmas/cny. festool is strictly professionals due to budget. damn costly can buy 5 x normal jigsaws
bosch good ones are like this
I was looking at Makita cordless Jigsaw all around 1k+ pening.
else had to invest in another bosch 12v jigsaw around 3xx solo.
lelong last month have 100 off 500 end up 5xx only. but i didnt buy, got a deal for samsung vacuum already for RM18. maybe i should had sold the samsung crapcuum for bosch.
Time for new toys, using my short level to pasang cabinets or whatever frames or whatever points is PIA. Last straw, horizontal level for vinyl flooring...
So looking for line lever, the RM100 extra for Bosch GLL-5 (2V 1H 1P) vs GLL-3 (1H 1H 1P) worth it? I never used that 90 parallel V line before...maybe for ceiling installation might be useful.
Or beli china self levelling laser bla bla bla
Using GLL-3, making life way easier. But most unker i work with uses those china green laser, they claim is workable not sure about accuracy.
i have try the dewalt table saw. just a few cut i dont have a woorkable cut.
need to improve my skill.
Dewalt table saw fence needs to be upgraded to get more accurate cut, try cutting a piece of MDF preferred 15-18mm then drive a screw from the other side to secure it. Don't over tighten it and it will bend the fence.
My first unit was misaligned out from the factory, instead of redo alignment, I request for a replacement.2nd one the blade is close to 90 Degree to the top.
I send my DeWalt table saw for warranty. I have try and try to horizontal my blade and no go. the alignment screw already max out. it say I'm the 2nd customer facing this issue.
The shop call up DeWalt and have 1 to 1 replacement. later I try to tune up my saw again and hope I got a workable cut.
This DeWalt model really has some alignment issue but is a Jobsite saw their precision is limited to what we pay for.
when labor = sg/us then tools investment will come accordingly. I hire those general workers before they prefer cheap tools due to the reason it will overheat easily and sometimes breakdown during work. They will take that as an excuse to snake.
Recently I hire someone to core a 6" hole in a 400mm RC slab. Main con said they can do it without hiring professionals. During the commission day, they bought low-end tools which cost them 1.5k and fail to core the slab ended up wasting 1 full day of a workday. (1 Engineer 1 supervisor 2 GW) 8hours you can estimate the manpower wasted and downtime cost too. I overwrite the main-con and hired professional corer who used Hilti/Shibuya and they can core each hole through 160mm RB 400mm Slab about 30min per hole.
After the job that main-con was banned from the tendering list.

Most people who hire a contractor to renovate house never sign an agreement on when to deliver if over the due date what is the penalty, although drafting the agreement might cost some money but if it is about 5% of your renovation cost I think personally is worth it. It is to protect yourself as a client so that you pay for what you get.
that`s what i`m resonate about in msia. real efficiency. not some undercut to get project done.
if they did the right things; instead resorting to cheapskate method to yield end result..it wont be that damaging to the main-con.
how`s the cost after "getting the real pros" in?
Main con bare all the cost, well tbh professional charge reasonable price for the amount of job being done and most importantly they always ahead of schedule.
