Hi sifus,

What does Vf mean in a power tool battery?
How to determine the V and mAh if the battery label says 288vf ?

Picture from Shopee.

Just Google for 288Vf battery. Probably 19.8k 20V battery

Hmm some 288Vf tools seem to have size of 6AH battery but write there 19800 mah (19AH). Dunno can trust or not.
*
They even have the 388Vf stated as 38800 mAH (I think). I'm not familiar with the bare Li-ion out there like what is the biggest capacity. Then how many battery you can put inside that casing. It is illogical ....

So, you get to know what blade brand compatible to the unit?

I can tell you that the oscillating tool is something very convenient for difficult to reach place. thumbsup.gif

just order today ..waiting to arrive ...not yet buy the blade yet ...but thinking to buy the blade set ...wonder compatible or not ..haha ...blade from china safe to use ?
*
China blade black color like carbon steel but the paint peeled off once used laugh.gif Anyway, they are cheap. Just keep replacing them. Ori locally can cost RM100 for a kit of 3 Bosch blades sweat.gif

Anyway the original blade that comes with my Bosch unit also did not last that long also. I have to read carefully and also confirmed with seller for compatible blade. Most just copy paste picture and spec to website. However, many China blades are multi brands compatible. I still need to make sure my older Bosch model compatible since the new model has different blade mount rclxub.gif

I've read comment from users in Internet about even Bosch one. The comment was about how the mechanical was designed inside that cause his unit broken. He had two units broken until he wnet to other brand I think.

Well, sometimes we just believe that branded one can serve us good laugh.gif

cost reduction also concern....

now a day many things not as durable as old old time...

The broken tool the customer talked about was not even a year of usage laugh.gif

i am looking for a drill dust collector. found Skil and Karcher have them but not available here in MY
found some cheap Chinese alternatives instead and even comes with a laser lever
anyone bought one? I see them selling at Shopee for around Rm50

*
Never use and never had one but it looks to me that the price of the unit is more on laser guide using button cell batteries. On the dust collection side it was no more than that cheap accordion cup. smile.gif

The lowest price I saw on Shoppe was around RM40. The button cell is a turnoff for me with short distance.

Yeah hammer with thick nail, overestimated my ability sweat.gif

Thanks for the explanations!! Would you suggest any cheaper brand/model? Or lower end 12V ones. Just to do this particular job.

Don't think we will use it very often, might end up collecting dusts.
*
If you are not going to use it very often, then just get the corded hammer drill. Even branded one also not expensive. Non-branded one even cheaper. smile.gif

Dear Sifu...need some suggestion... I prepare to drill few hole on the brick wall to install the wall bracket for TV and WALL hole to hang my TV cabinet.(Ikea Type) may i know which size of hole i should drill in order to hold the weight? (Totally no idea..) And for the wall plug, shall I use the heavy duty 1? (Those who hang the fan)
*
The size of hole is the size of the wall bracket hole bolt that you are going to use obviously.

Does your brackets comes with bolt and nuts? The weight is lateral to the bolt direction. So, not too much chance that the bolt will slide out. Anyway, TV nowadays is not heavy like few years before smile.gif

Those sleeve anchor are very commonly available.
The separated ones (called drop in anchor) are easier if first time installing - if the inner part's skirt doesnt open, then the anchor won't mount anything. Easier to remove the bolt and try again.
Sleeve anchor can be a suicide mission if the hole not deep enough or the skirt fail to open all the way.

Drop in= https://shopee.com.my/-100--ORIGINAL--SIN-H...ByABEgLX_fD_BwE

Sleeve anchor = https://shopee.com.my/SYW-SLEEVE-ANCHOR---W...BCABEgLJHfD_BwE

For drop in anchor they will write the bolt size - metric M8 or M10 size or those in inches 1/4 or 5/16 so u need to get the right bolt (size and length need to be just nice - no need full length (there is a stopper halfway) if using drop in.
*
The drop-in anchor is designed for concrete material. It is not meant for brick or cement wall at all. It would not give proper grip.

The sleeve anchor most contractor just hammer in and cut the remaining bolt, but actually it is not that hard to remove if you drill to proper depth.

hello all, got a question here.. was going to do some drilling on the wall but unsure if there is any water pipe/metal behind the wall, could anyone suggest me a tool (something like stud finder?) to do this check?
*
There are many stud and pipe detector in market nowadays. They are relatively cheap compare to labor cost laugh.gif

https://shopee.com.my/search?keyword=pvc%20pipe%20detector

Since many pipes are PVC, ABS or Poly, then it would require something different. You can find them in link above and they are relatively more expensive.

Anyway standard electrical and pipe routing is normally horizontally and vertically. So, if you see pipe outlet, you can guess the path generally. Avoid drilling vertically or horizontally aligned with power outlet or water outlet.

I'm sure it is not super glue. Super glue is not a gap filler. The two surfaces to be glued together has to be perfectly matched for best result..

guys ..

mini saw like photo...boleh paKai ? or get better bigger saw?

thanks ...

Better don't buy. If you look at it, there is nothing to brace upon during cutting unlike reciprocating saw.

Once the chain rotates, that saw will pull away from you and it is your hand that pull back and hold the saw in its position.

Hi guys, any recommendation for belt & disc sander? I see a lot of sumo-king on shopee/lazada. They claim that they're originated from Japan and manufactured in Taiwan, but I couldn't find any info elsewhere. Are they any good?

Any reputable brand for belt & disc sander in Malaysia?

Personally I don;t think it is Japan brand as I cannot find a company by that name even in Japan laugh.gif

Even when you go to www.sumoking.my website and click home, it will bring you to www.ctsmachinery.com.my

It is probably just local brand but that logo has been around long time if not mistaken. Unless your line of work is heavy on this machine branded one probably cost a lot more. Shinetool at least a legit Taiwan brand wink.gif
