Browse around lazada and ebay, bare tool ranges from 550-650.
The Bosch GRO has has more power/torque than dremel 8200.

If I buy dremel I need to maintain another battery platform.  bangwall.gif
Dremel 8200 costs about RM500 with 1 10.8v 1.5AH batt and charger.

PBosch GRO price in UK is 50gbp. Transport 16gbp, ouch!!!
*
Well if you already have the bosch battery, than not that expensive to get.

Bosch 12v battery is same as dremel battery. The only different is the battery end tap casing that lock the battery to the unit. You can modify the bosch battery to use on the dremel.

Even you can charge the dremel battery on the bosch charger.

Damn, both are the same company. But make the small different on the battery. Don't no for what. This battery cost is killing.

I guess the same, no feedback because the sensors itself are costly.

I went to one of the pneumatic shop in Klang to get the full booklet, they have all the parts required for pneumatic cnc machine, from pneumatic clamp, table rotate, feed piston, etc but I don't know how should I build the system cry.gif  cry.gif
*
Just get a bigger motor for Z axis. Strong enough without need feedback. Cheaper too.

If you want to start, get a cheaper wan. But sure crap even mill a alu material. From there, learn and modify it.

And you are forever hook on it already. biggrin.gif

Initial, I don't feel want to get a 3D printer/CNC. Just DIY. I have all the ingredient to make minus the controller. But just too lazy to start. Finally give up and just get 1 to start.

10mm is the maximum diameter for concrete based on the tech spec. Maybe you'll face some difficulties when going through 150mm. You can try to drill with smaller diameter first, followed by 10mm.

Hi,

I think you got me wrong here...What I'm looking for is a 10mm diameter WITH 150mm length drill bit.

Yeah, he did mention your drill max is 10mm dia bit. 150mm length is quite deep and to drill that deep, he suggested u to drill with a smaller 6mm or 8mm pilot hole first

Oh, then my mistake of understanding his/her statement in the first place.

Thanks. I will take you guys' advise on that.

so i went to have a look at some STIHL chainsaws as they are on offer (was going to consider either STIHL or HUSQ)

prices are kinda cheap for the low end non professional grade one. i intend to use this to trim tree branches and perhaps some log cuts

these are the prices:

MS170 - 599
MS180 - 699
MS230 - 999
MS250 - 1149
MS361 - 1696 (the only one made in germany)

the first surprise i see is new, entry level STIHL are made in CHINA! LOL. i still remember 10 yrs or so ago i used a small STIHL and it's made in good old nazi country. the chain bars are either made in USA (cheaper model) or germany (the more exp) though. the chains are made in switzerland.

I am seriously considering the MS180 over the MS170 (RM100 diff, same 16" bar length)

I might go to husqvarna supplier to check got offer or not tomorrow.

need input from u gais. or should i go for the more exp 230 or 250? or go all the way to 361? BTW, the 361 is 24" only. so all these are more to enthusiast level kind of saw, not for those lumberjacks one with long 36 or 48" blades. LOL

surprised to see at how small this thing is

and damn, this thing is NOISY. less than a minute using it and i have ringings in my ear. next time need to wear ear plugs

next, will find a flexible hose large enough for the opening or any of the adapters. the main use for this blower is to help me flush radiator coolant and engine oils. a large engine takes about 30 - 45 mins to drain the coolant and about the same for engine oil. so hopefully with this can reduce the time to half.
