hmm.gif Yeah.. there is a calculation which require motor power, rpm, feed speed to the material hardness. I don't quite remember it, probably need to google it. If motor power is low then you need to reduce feed speed and cut lesser material per cut.

2.2kw cost 7200CYEN? Sorry, I can't read chinese.

Wow.. that's so costly to get the complete set. Btw,

additional computer with touch screen - RM8xx << w/o this, how to control it? Comes with pc software?

And also, not sure the 4th axis is referring to table tilt or table rotate.

Why convert when you can buy a cheap bosch grinder below RM90~150?

Much more safer & reliable.

It comes with PC software if you want to install and control the CNC from your own PC. Interface is parallel port.

The 4th axis is a stepper motor that you install on the table so you can carve a cucumber, sylinder rod.

almost patah is better than severed limbs. saw cutters are specialised in term of safety, and not just function to rotate a piece of disc to cut wood.

Get a proper circular saw or jigsaw to cut wood.
Their not that expensive anyway.
A quick search on lazada.

What you mean is the whole table rotate 360° viewed from top?

So you have bought the machine?

Huh? Never know about that, normally my workers would just use grinder at sites because it's lighter and mobile. For thicker or larger amount of wood then sabre saws will be used.

I am still exploring, this is big investment for me, need to learn more first.

This is the view of the machine with 4th axis

Wow... that's what I need to machine a miniature crankshaft for my dream project..

But this investment is quite hefty, 5.5k + 1.5k = 7k already. Hardest decision ever..

I won't suggest you to get this for CNC milling. Wood and softer material is still ok.

But for steel and precise work, the structure is not that strong. Specially the vertical lower arm join to the X axis. It is too weak.

Mill aluminum should be ok?
I don't plan to mill stainless steel with it.

Take smaller cut and not that precise is still ok.

Buying china machine like this is tricky. have to check properly, research alot.

This are the main weak arm. The all aluminium material on the machine is already know that it is not that strong.

i'd rather lose rm 20 than lose a finger or something else

seriously, there will be kick backs and that time when you lose grip of the grinder body, no amount of disc guard, leather glove, safety goggles can help you.

crazy to use drill or grinder and modify it to mount a saw disc. rclxub.gif

even grinding disc if patah already can split the body wide open, always put the guard on.
