it depends on your car manufacturer specification. i think 250 ft lbs is way too much for a wheel lug nut. both my makita and bosch gdx can open the lug nut easily...cos mine tighten with torque wrench at 105 ft lbs. basically need how much torque to open car tyre? cox google said 250 torque supposedly enuf
