Loose AV cable is 4ROD not 3ROD.

It was explained in the Xbox FAQ at Xbox.com regarding the 3/4ROD. 4ROD is the code for loose AV cable.

So how do you feel about it, any worries? , hope it's common and wonder what's the cause and anything to prevent it where I heard usually regarding cooling but yet others still face it.

Yeah just got my new 360 thanks to Djinn for his help in minimizing the pain~! 3ROD or not, its a sweet console with great games~!

i want to share my story.. is like this..
my 360 i take care very well.. in the sense.. it only play original game.. i dont use DVD on it.. or CD music also..
i make sure it get enough rest.. and ventilation..
i didnt buy accesories as in intercooler or etc..
when i OFF the game.. i quit the game nicely to dashboard.. then only i press OFF..
all works well until after 11 months, suddenly start crashing and finally DIED..

so moral of stories.. u basically dont know when it will go..
anytime can go.. of coz if your luck is good.. it stays longer..

do i think the product is inferior? definitely..
if u know how i trash my last gen (xbox, ps2) and they still working.. no problem yet..

I think most are worry about after warranty which include concerns about resell value... so far Microsoft haven't seems to solve the problem yet, but I think the new batch that comes with 65nm chip might fix it which would be coming soon this year.

And oh, i got mine circa November 22nd 2005, which makes mine almost 1.5 years old. The very first batch of 360 to be exact, coming from the deserts of Mohave during Zero Hour launch. Only had HDD failure to put with, and after changing to a new HDD, running without a squeak ever since. So much for "first bacth always buggy" presumptions, isnt it?

Sure about that? The crowd that thronged the Zero Hour launch begs to differ. If it's jealousy, then well,...... i better refrain from saying anything to heat things up here. Everyone else was telling about their Xbox 360, was just keeping with the flow here. Enjoy the PM!

same set here. if ur modded. it might be the same xbox as with a normal package.
they only swap the console inside the box to a modded one.
my bro bought his, a day after it was launched. there's no way they mod it
less than a day.

damn they wanna charge me RM200 for sending..
and they say the earliest u get it back is minimum 2 months..

LOL...and again..LOL...i have been using MoDed PS2 since 2002. I play pirated Dvd, Vcd, PS1, PS2, u name it..i use it..until now..sumtimes till 20 hours a day during holidays...not even a repair to my PS2 since 2002...
