This just in!! Movie review site Latino Review got hold on a leaked draft of the Gears of War script, penned by Stuart Beattie (Pirates of The Carribean). This may not reflect the final version as it is still a work in progress, but if the movie goes towards this direction, i'd probably think it would be worth something.

The story starts off during the last battle of the Pendulum Wars - the 79 year war that humanity fought on Sera before Emergence Day.

i kinda agree with bro marauderz here. name me ONE video game to movie conversion that didn't suck. yes. i will kill anyone who mentions any movie by Uwe Boll.

1. Mario Bros - sucked
2. Mortal Kombat - fair
3. Street Fighter - sucked donkey balls
4. Double Dragon - can you find another word that is similar to 'crap'. oh yea..shit.
5. Tomb Raider - fair
6. DOA - sucked. (the T&A action was just OKAY)
7. Doom - just OKAY

it's up to Halo now..and possibly GoW. next up - Boom Boom Rocket gets made into a feature 90 minute film. wow.
