Hi guys.. I am planning to buy intel processor from US. Anyone here know whether how much is the sales tax being charged or import duties? Is there any other additional charges beside that. Thx for your info

why dun just buy it here at Malaysia? much cheaper(maybe), no hassle and no warranty issue..

yeah, but didnt include custom tax and delivery.. unless u hav a friend who willing to help you bring in da processor.. IMO, better you buy the processor here.. hassle free..

dats y I wan ask the import duties and sales tax. If i get quad6700 i can save RM1500++ that money i can use to buy my gc.

from what i've seen in bulk orders from US stores, it tooks around 1 week to clear the item from customs.. and also, IF the processor spoilt, it will be a trouble to claim the warranty..

There is NO tax for processor since it is a part of computer.

Get it from oversea IF the price is real low and you dont mind about the hassle when the processor damaged (though processor seldom broke down).

But i think if you buy from online, the price won't differ much liao.

I think if buy from the shops in us, maybe can get cheaper.

some batch of the oversea processor is better and more overclockable compare to local one,but have to depend on batch and if you wan warranty pls buy locally,if you are an overclocker you can buy oversea.
