As title, sometimes I need to fetch friend at destination A, then together we go to destination B.

What should I do in Uber and Grab?

Can I just put destination B and ask the driver to pick my friend at destination A first? If the app will calculate the distance and charge me.

Or I put destination A first, after arrive only call another Uber/Grab to destination B.

For Grab multistop,

First enter your pick up location (First column)

then click destination A to pick up your friend destination (1st pick up/drop off location)

press "+" button for your final destination and enter the address or building name (2nd drop off location)

With uber, I just tell the driver where are all my stops.

For Uber, update destination just before you reach A.
Ask your driver not to accept new request.

Tell in advance, we are not your personal driver.

It's true that you can update new destination, but it's also true that we can end the trip whenever we want.
