Almost every forumer who have invested significant amount of money in the stock market are sitting on painful losses.
I dunno about you guys, but Warren Buffett quotes bring no comfort to me.
Until this year, I seldom drink alcohol. Now I've lost count of the number of beer cans I've emptied. I drink Carlsberg products btw, for those of you 'value investors' out there.
Also buy 4d jackpot lottery tickets now, safer than the stock markets, haha.
Last night, I dream that I was walking to the 14th floor, dressed all in red.

No bull run QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 15 2019, 03:02 PM) Good for stock market, one less uncertainty. Probably not good for UK long term tho. With this and US-China Phase 1 "historic deal" . 😆.. I hope we can hv good run in the market until CNY at least.

Looks like 'the world's worst stock market' will keep its title Maybe I should just buy ChinaETF instead of individual Bursa stocks. Do you plan to hold on to your GoldETF or sell, since the trade war will likely cool off at least until after US elections? QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 17 2019, 01:43 PM) US bull n HK bull up. Malaysia still sleep.. This post has been edited by Moneylust: Dec 17 2019, 07:19 PM

I see, your timing is good. I'll likely make some changes in my portfolio, including selling defensives like gold stocks, this month. We'll have to see who's the Democratic nominee. If it's Bloomberg or Biden, market should be bullish. The opposite if it's Warren or Sanders. QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 18 2019, 10:39 AM) I have sold 2/3 of my Goldetf position in late Aug. For about 22% profit for less than a year holding. The balance 1/3 is maintained as minimum just in case. I do plan to start accumulating gold again next year. Hopefully from gains from equity positions. Im expecting more market volatility closer to US elections and also recession fears/trade war tensions to surface again sometime next year. But right now more bullish equities.

ETFs of gold and silver miners. Anyway, I already exited when gold/silver rallied on Dec 23 - put the $ into several ETFs covering AI, robotics, 5G etc. QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 22 2019, 11:29 AM) Sorry I just noticed this.. What gold stocks do u have? Gold mining stocks? Or gold etf? Im also trimming down more on defensive this month, in my case, govt bonds.
