I just applied to open CDS account last week at Maybank. I opened direct account. I have received e-mail from Bursa for the successful registration. How long should I wait before I can activate my online stocks account?

QUOTE(nikewee @ Nov 5 2018, 01:33 PM) its better to have a remiser/broker so u can ask 'politely' when u have question. Is it possible to open more than 1 CDS account within the same investment bank at another branch or open only at different investment bank is possible? Im thinking to open one direct and one nominee accountif not wrong within a week for whole process if not wrong.... |

Just wondering, why POS are not ‘hot counter’ by looking at its current price n volume? Nowadays everyone buy things online n use their courier service. POS revenue n net profit is quite huge too. But why the chart looks dull n not promising? Anyone hv opinion?

QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Nov 12 2018, 11:40 PM) Price should not be used as a means of comparison alone. RM0.05 stock looks cheap but it's so lousy that nobody wants. Thank you for your comment. Now I get it...According to Benjamin Graham, one should only buy stock with P/E 10-15. POS P/E is 37.56 which is madness especially when it's not exactly a monopoly. Courier services aren't doing well in Malaysia. Look at GDEX stock. Costs are likely to increase when the government removes oil subsidies. I don't think Pos' Malaysia's revenue is actually huge. It's revenue has not grown much. Profits coming down. Dividend has been decreasing. EPS dropping. All these are bad signs. By right, Pos' Malaysia's share price should be around RM0.80 - RM1.20 only. Not sure if u r saying based on POS current QR.... But as what I can remember last year their revenue and profits were increasing. Off topic : GDEX service is so bad. Extremely bad. -Updated- I just checked POS QR. Yes. Their net profit fall this year.......................... This post has been edited by Kjk014: Nov 13 2018, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 16 2018, 09:50 AM) Share buy back /= privatisation I see.... Thanks a lot for the explanation Share buy back - Company use own internal fund to purchase shares in the market, which reduce the outstanding share out there, which may eventually make EPS rise due to less shares. Privatisation - Someone normally major shareholder wish to acquire the remaining shares that he/she doesn't own, and delisted from the stock market. Once the mandatory privatisation kick in aka when the major shareholder managed to acquire more than 90% stake, then major shareholder is required to buy the remaining shares from the "ikan bilis" shareholders, at the price which already set prior before in the MGO. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 22 2018, 08:56 AM) Multiple transaction /= multiple contract. Thank youu Most brokers houses will consolidate the same counter bought/sell within the day into one contract. Eg.Buy 1.00 x 10 lot 1.05 x 10 lot 1.10 x 10 lot There will be only 1 contract stated 30 lot x RM1.05, and commission, stamp duty, clearing fee are counted based on single contract. |

Some forumers have accused KYY of pump and dump. Just make sure we don't end up without a chair when the music ends. KY Jelly i know la |
