QUOTE(Barricade @ Mar 22 2018, 02:58 PM) Potential turnaround stock? QR will be released next week. If it turns a profit, then it may move upwards. But the valuation and fundamental are still weak. Personally I won’t touch Sapura. The risk reward ratio is not attractive enough. I would rather place my bet on REITS or even Mah Sing. My 2 cents only. Who knows. The stock might fly next week. 😀

Pohuat’s and Superln’s latest QR are very poor. Now both went to Holland. Down -10% to -15% in 2 days? Superln used to be the darling stock for many investors including myself. I think it was up about 80% at one point.
Such is the unforgiving nature of Mr Market.

QUOTE(lowya @ Mar 23 2018, 09:47 AM) in fact, should avoid all flat earning stocks altogether, only look at growth companies to invest. Hurricane and storm in the stock market this year. Need a steady heart to invest.

Fire sale starting! Those with ammo can enter slowly. AnnJoo falling to RM3 soon and PetronM fell below RM9.00.
My entire portfolio is red except for LC Titan and CMMT. Sold MQReit today at a slight loss. Need ammo.
Topped up AnnJoo at RM3.020. Queuing up for FPI and PetronM.

QUOTE(savvyaunty @ Mar 26 2018, 03:40 PM) 3 more days until next allocation of investment money comes in hopefully can still enter Annjoo at around RM3 then Don't worry. The market will continue to bleed for the next 3 days. Have a look at FPI as well. I managed to top up just now. I think it offers good value for money with the current sale.

QUOTE(staticxtreme @ Mar 26 2018, 03:55 PM) how much you entered mqreit at bro I entered at RM1.050 and sold at RM1.030. I think MQReit is still a good stock for long term investment. But alas, I need ammo and I don't want to use my other funds to top up AnnJoo and FPI.

Last year from March 2018 onwards, I felt like Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch combined. Just close one eye and throw a dart at the wall. Most of the stocks I bought went up 10%, 20% 40%, 80%. From AirAsia, Old Town, HEIM, Superln, KESM to GKent, etc and the list went on and on. This year I feel like Penjaga Van. Any stocks that I bought sure fall. There is no escape. This is the time when we separate the men from the boys.

I bought some UCHITEC shares this morning. Entering slowly in view of the uncertainty in the market. Fundamental and valuation are OK. The company is making money and very cash rich.
The share price is going up today because of UCHITEC's announcement yesterday, RM0.20 share capital repayment to its shareholders.
I bought at RM2.730, after the share price has already gone up +5.8% this morning. I will try to average down the price.
Any takers here?

QUOTE(lowya @ Mar 27 2018, 02:40 PM) GAP play? sorry can't join because of growth and pe. I will monitor how this stock will perform in the short run. Not worth considering? Even with the RM0.20 capital repayment? This post has been edited by Vanguard 2015: Mar 27 2018, 03:07 PM

QUOTE(lowya @ Mar 27 2018, 03:12 PM) my strategy is strictly no rising growth no buy, high pe no invest. So tt didn't pass the preliminary filter. Ok noted. BTW, I bought CMMT 1 week ago (bottom fishing lah). In 1 week, it is up 6%. Do you want to have a look at it?

QUOTE(lowya @ Mar 27 2018, 04:14 PM) yes i checked every counter you mentioned, technically you have good entry timing recently. Only last time like to chase high, this time good risk control. If you scalp then 6%/week is a good profit if big sizing. Unfortunately not enough profit at 6%. The net profit is about RM600 plus. I have decided to double down on CMMT. The Valuation score is 3/3 while the Fundamental score is 0.8/3.00.

QUOTE(staticxtreme @ Mar 27 2018, 04:00 PM) added Hevea to my portfolio @ 0.81 today what do you guys think? I bought and sold HEVEA recently at a slight loss after the recent QR was released and it showed a net loss of -45%. I guess you are buying it as a potential turnaround stock or using bottom fishing strategy. The fundamental and valuation score is good. But for the stock to rise, the next QR must start showing a profit. Otherwise you just take the dividend which is currently about 8.6% (DY). My 2 cents view as usual.

QUOTE(ikanbilis @ Mar 28 2018, 09:37 AM) Seems like i got your MQreit at 1.03 I still have faith in MQReit. But this stock needs patience. The fundamental and valuation are solid. The price has more or less bottomed out. There is a margin of safety. I may re-enter MQReit in the future but I am out of ammo for now.

Err, who is the forumer here who enquired about Sapura Energy? The latest QR has been released. It suffered an eye watering net loss of -1226%. It recorded a full year net loss of RM2.5 billion. I think better stay away and fry other stocks. See https://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...pt5b-in-fy2017/

QUOTE(Barricade @ Mar 28 2018, 03:38 PM) Me! Listened to you in the end didn't buy. Phew! What is your view on MYEG? It looks like an election stock. The current P/E is 44.84. The valuation is 1.1/3. Personally I think there is no margin of safety although the company is making money. In summary, I will not buy this stock. My 2 cents view as usual. If you do your own research and feel otherwise, please go ahead. No right or wrong answer lah.

Is something brewing in CMMT? I doubled down on it yesterday. As we speak, it is up another +3.846% now. Did I miss the memo?
My whole portfolio has gone to hell, all red, red, red except for CMMT which is still quietly and slowly climbing up.
For my comrades with ammo here, is CMMT worth a second look? I think in one week, it is up 10% already.

QUOTE(savvyaunty @ Mar 28 2018, 04:10 PM) It seems like REITs are seeing slightly better day after The Edge published the article on the selldown of REITs. The latest update on CMMT is probably on Sg Wang. https://www.pressreader.com/malaysia/the-st...281496456823560Ah yes, I re-called reading this article. I bought CCMT slightly earlier than that. Hopefully CMMT and other REIT stocks will become turnaround stocks. This post has been edited by Vanguard 2015: Mar 28 2018, 04:17 PM

QUOTE(lowya @ Apr 2 2018, 10:02 AM) your FPI 1.5 interesting level for entry. Yes it is. I queued up just now at RM1.480. See whether can get or not. AnnJoo up 6% now. See whether it can be sustained or is it a dead cat bounce. Haha.
