SEREMBAN: Pangkalan Udara (PU) Sendayan dekat sini yang dijangka beroperasi tahun depan, turut memerlukan balai polis berdekatan dinaik taraf.

Timbalan Ketua Polis Negeri Sembilan, Senior Asisten Komisioner Muhamad Zaki Harun, berkata PU Sendayan yang terletak di Bandar Sri Sendayan, adalah di bawah pentadbiran Balai Polis Mambau.

Katanya, penduduk bandar itu yang kini mencecah kira-kira 20,000 orang, dijangka bertambah apabila lebih 2,000 anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) dan keluarga berpindah ke PU Sendayan.

"Kita harap Balai Polis Mambau yang kini adalah gred D dapat ditingkatkan ke B atau sekurang-kurangnya gred C tahun depan," katanya pada sidang media selepas merasmikan majlis penutup Program Hari Sukan Dua Penjuru di sini, hari ini.

Program disertai anggota polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Seremban dan kakitangan Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (Matrix Concepts).

Yang turut hadir, Ketua Polis Daerah Seremban, Asisten Komisioner Thiew Hock Poh dan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Matrix Concepts, Datuk Lee Tian Hock.

Muhamad Zaki berkata, kertas kerja menaik taraf Balai Polis Mambau sudah dihantar ke Bukit Aman akhir tahun lalu, diikuti lawatan pegawai kanan Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) baru-baru ini, untuk memeriksa kawasan berkenaan.

Katanya, kenaikan taraf itu penting kerana membolehkan pertambahan anggota dan kelengkapan lain, sekali gus membolehkan polis meningkatkan tahap perkhidmatan kepada masyarakat.

Selain itu, katanya Matrix Concepts yang memajukan Bandar Sri Sendayan, memperuntukkan kawasan seluas kira-kira 2.02 hektar di Jalan Kayu Ara di sini, untuk pembinaan Balai Polis Mambau yang baharu dan perkara ini akan dikemukakan kepada Bukit Aman untuk pertimbangan.

When I went back to Seremban previously, I noticed that this is quite a community already, as in quite a lot of cars going to and fro. Is it as highly occupied as it seems?

Yeahhhh. My dad’s house in Rasah Kemayan was bought at RM350k back in 2003, approximately 6,000 sqft + and every now and then agents will ask him if he wants to sell his house. So 2 years ago he decided to ask ask a bit the possible selling price and it was quoted around 1.6-1.8m. Not sure if the value was accurate but damn that’s a huge jump. I remembered the terrible state it was in back in those days when I was helping with the cleaning.

Anyhow, Sri Carcosa was one of the locations that was selling their houses for unrealistic price back in 2008 (800k+) ish? We Seremban people were totally new with the strata concept at that time and what’s funny is that those houses were completely sold due to the fact that every single bungalow there had its own design

Banglo  (land size more than 6000 sq feet) is cheap with selling price RM 600,000.

The guardhouse was demolished, by instruction from majlis perbandaran Nilai. MPN has approved the road connected Rasah Kemayan dan Sendayan.  The guardhouse has to be removed.

The road has been built and connected. Now waiting suitable time to open the road.
