the 360 HD AV cable cannot be used on the old XBOX. i've been looking for the same thing too, i got a 3rd party HD AV pak for the Xbox off ebay.

well i used 2 types of 3rd party HDAV cable for the xbox. previously i was using XCM Multi-Console Component Cable... there was ghosting @ 720p. i'm not suprised since the cable is kinda thin.

i went looking for a new HD AV pak because that XCM was a loan and i'm in desperate need of optical spdif for XBMC this new one i got is an exact clone of the MS HD AV pak; u can use your own component cable to connect to it, unlike the XCM. so far ghosting (i run 720p only) and the optical is working fine.

SG$20 for a 2nd hand original MS HD AV pak is not a bad price, get it quick...
