As video if you notice it won't steer back to center once you steer to the left, but it will back to center when you steer from right.. It happened in my friend car as well.. Anyone know the issue?

My friend case p2, they technician said got air in the hose to the wheel, but didn't solve the issue.. P2 also using EPS I think air issue only happen on hydraulic system?

Some free play is always there

Really good systems have minimal play

Check alignment

Electic power steering is nothing more than replacing the belt pump with electric pump,

You still need to take care of alignment , tyre wear , and all like that an old system

Have you try to re-calibrate? There is steering angle sensor inside the system. Somethimes a re-cal help it to find it's center position.

Go to SC, ask them is there any error code thrown by EPS. If steering angle gone bad, some of this sympton might appear.

Hope that helps....

No, I meant an electric power steering is just a different method of power assist

Checking alignment , tyre pressures , rotating tyres is still needed.

Same like old car, if alignment out , steering need to hold senget to drive straight , once alignment fixed , steering is straight ahead

Like what rcracer have said, first check your alignemnt. If the figures are allright, maybe you need to go to SC to do steering calibration. Go youtube and type steering angle calibration..again pls check alignment first before proceeding further..
