If I were to upgrade from XP Lite Postpaid (the basic package) to either the M or L Pass, will the fees be pro-rated during the billing month?

And also, can I use the Boost discount voucher for RM5x12mths rebate for this purpose?

So i'm planning to upgrade my XP Lite plan from Basic to M pass using the Boost voucher, and I receive this notice:

"Upfront payment of RM10.00 needed for any changes to plans that are active for less than 6 months"

Is this a deposit? Or an additional payment for plan changes?
