Edit: My take, don't bother buying the RM10 Speed addon since you're probably finished up your 60gb quota much faster before end of month.

Just a matter of time before old customers get the same treatment too.

I know that existing customers have 100GB FUP, which is worrying that they might change it and make it the same as the new plan.

I rarely at home due to work, so I use more data for streaming, update and downloading games. 100GB can easily used up within two weeks nowadays.

My biggest usage is watching Twitch/YouTube streaming, Korean dramas, games use less than all those 3.

I don't like your insinuating my job is that free and no need work, you don't even know me irl, what makes you have the right to judge my life?

Did I use your money to pay for my lifestyle? Did I somewhat live with you or your family?

I don't need you to be on a high horse here. Kopitiam section is where you can do that.

The new plan has 3Mbps speed and 60GB quota.

You can pay RM10 for 6Mbps speed for a month, follow your plan validity.

After you used up your quota, the speed will be throttled to 512kbps.

On their FB page and other social media, the customers are calling out Celcom for this new plan, misleading and misusing the word unlimited.

What we expect , unlimited data.
What we get, unlimited in name and speed.

Yes they want Celcom customers to use socmed for support now.

I used their Whatsapp contact for support few times, quite OK.
The facebook one take quite some time for reply.

All telcos ended the free 1GB starting 1st February yesterday.

All that's left is that Remaja package and Prihatin package.

New subscribers still have 60GB IIRC, while old-time subscribers have a ~110GB cap monthly now.

You can tether to a PC/laptop.

If you're the old XPAX Prepaid subscriber, cap is around 110GB. The new one is 60GB IIRC.

I get the warning multiple times due to watching streaming quite often, so yeah.

For your first question.

Basically, any XPAX Prepaid subscribers before 7th October 2021 have higher quota than to those who subscribed after the said date.

That migration is a dealbreaker for me.

if I understand it correctly, the new XPAX have less quota than the old one (60GB vs 120GB, IIRC) which is kinda downgrade tbh.

That 30D/65GB quota macam more or less the same as the new XPAX subscriber's 30D plan quota, I think.
