guys - just back to Malaysia after 3 weeks, suddenly eveywhere i go - no 5g but only 4G - restart phone also same, i am on celcom rm98 plan ... what gives?

You using Celcom Mega? As i know only Lightning Pass got 5G access, Unlimited don't.

Which passes you having right now?

my bad - i came back overseas, data was set to 4g during roaming, switch back to 5G and all okay now

received a called from a mobile number claimed to be celcom rep.. offer to trade from celcom mega 98 to celcomdigi 130.. rebate rm20/month for 12 months... subline 50% off... hotspot 20gb..
basically pay monthly all same.... just upgrade quota from 60 to unlimited + 50% sub.....

I am on Mega 80 and am offered a lifetime rebate of RM20 if change plan to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 100 package. Tried to apply - not sure if need to be on contract though. Basically I will be paying the same at RM80, but with more data - currently 50GB+10GB+60GB. With new plan it will be 150GB.

But seriously given the data it bundled. It is not attractive for its price paid actually but it is the cheapest postpaid plan one can still own for celcom.

Actually start 2024.....all the wonderful deal like 100GB RM3...vanished and i wait....wait...wait.....before getting the
10GB for rm2 validity 30day.
