The Sim is not really new, about 3 years ago, 4G is available. My phone is Nokia 7 plus and supported 4g+ as I used other Telco sim before. 

Should I change to a new sim?

For areas where Maxis is better, then redone is surely a better choice

For other areas, I think hard to beat Vibe+ plans from TuneTalk

Hotspot 30GB

MEGA + Unlimited M (RM80 + RM18)
Hotspot 5GB only

MEGA + Lightning M Pass (RM80 + RM18)
Hotspot 40GB (30GB + 10GB)

I chat with Celcom FB support and got the above, but it looks like doesn't make sense.

Hotspot and Speed is everything for me.
Monthly data usage is about 8GB to 10GB only.
No video streaming, purely internet for working.

Thinking to switch from Maxis to Celcom, but the MEGA plan seem not suitable, want to confirm here.

You need more all usage data? More hotspot data? Take the mega + lightning M/L/XL pass

You need unlimited data? Trade your 30gb all usage data for this 5mbps/15mbps unlimited M/L pass, we also give you extra 5gb/10gb data for you to use hotspot

If you look at the unlimited plan, you are basically paying rm98 + sst for 5mbps, and rm148 for 15mbps. Do you think the price is reasonable? If celcom is the only Telco covered within your place and you use hundreds of gb on mobile then go for it

Actually, there was a misunderstanding...

The CUP35 "was" not capping the speed @ 3Mbps BEFORE 1st July... It was at full high-speed back then... See below:



However, due to the power of Social Media and "big-mouth" Subscribers, CUP35 finally "activated" the 3Mbps DL/UL speed on the 1st July onwords...

In terms of FUP Limit per month, nobody can claim/proof any limit so far... T&C doesn't mention the FUP Limit at all...

Too late... It's capped @ 3Mbps edy since 1st July... But the free 1GB MCO quota still at full high-speed... After 1GB MCO quota depleted, comes in 3Mbps DL/UL speed....
