does anyone know about something called the motion dectector camera or something?
its like the camera will automatically take a snap shot if it detects any movement...
just like the camera used in the jungle to capture animals.. when the animals appears, it will immediately take a shot...
does any camera has integrated this function in it?
it may be an external add-on accessory, but does anyone know of any camera that has this function?

You can check online hunting website/store like cabelas. Locally, you may check with nature society as they're that most likely use that sort of thing.

the zig view seems great... but the site didn't display the price for it? and its also not in the brochures.... i have contacted them through email, still waiting for reply...

its about GBP240 here in UK. i think if they going to sell it in mesia, the price would be around rm1400.. maybe~

is it the one that uses ultrasonic wave to detect movement? if yes, then hear this, i watched mythbusters the other day, they've found 2 easy ways to crack it

cost me around 60bucks 1.5years back, it comes with the software..

i believe the movement is captured by the software itself. i don't think the webcam has special motion sensor on it.

yes, you are right. Initially i though that i could get a digital camera or a video camera that has that motion detector function, but it seems that getting a web cam with that function performed by the software would be a better idea...

i think logitech has one with the "panning" function where it can detect motion

i saw quite a few ads in newspapers on this kind of cams. like those dome types, with capture card. quite reasonable price. have you tried contacting any of 'em?

i donno but it kinda CCTV cam but come with pc card & software. it doesn't say about motion sensor but since it looks professional so i guess it can be made to detect movement via the software. got many in star ads section. price around 900~2000 (depends on how many channels). no harm calling 'em
