its just as reference.. a lot of scholars have diff interpretations of one issue. for example like using the inhaler/ventolin for asthma patients. Some say batal, some say not batal. each has its own explanation and basis for their conclusion. it is up to us to choose which is right and easiest to follow without burden to health and well-being.

Its not abt getting caught or not. and i doubt the religious dept go spying on legal hubbys and wifes to see if they piap during ramadhan just for the sake nak tangkap.

Ramadhan is about one's self discipline between himself and God. Its not about being afraid of what others might know/think.

Its about consistency. The best way is to follow one mazhab through.. Malaysia uses Shafie.. Pakistan uses Hambali etc.. each with its pros & cons. There is no restriction to follow a mazhab, but the only restriction is u need to follow a mazhab as a whole, not piece by piece as you see fit.

Indeed there were and are such cases, which is a pity and shows the lack of proper thinking of some religious depts have. But that is Khalwat case.. not husband/wife piap during Ramadhan.
