Hello all, just want to check in to see if this is a problem with my unit or it is just what it is capable of....

I upgraded my Unifi package, got a free M9 Plus from them.

So i set it up with custom VLAN due to using the 2nd LAN port on the Main Deco to connect to my PC by LAN. This Main Deco is in my room on 2nd floor.

2nd Deco i setup and i place it not very far from my Main unit on the bottom floor. The distance is not even 10m, but its thru 1 door and 1 wall. I get 2 bars in the App connection status.

My issue is, i speedtest anywhere on the 2nd floor, connected to the main unit, i can get 350-500 mbps (my package is 500mbps)

But when i speedtest right next to the 2nd unit on the bottom floor, the max i can get is 30-40mbps only.....

Is this just limitation due to the location of the node?

I cannot use wired backhaul, so i just want to check if this is normal?

Hello i have an AX73 v1.0

I wanna swap this with the default router i got from celcom home fibre.

But im having trouble setting it up. Keeps saying no connection. I already picked the Celcom profile, but the VLAN values are locked in/greyed out?

Any guide/help?

Hello!

I currently am renting a 1st Floor (Ground) of a shoplot for an office. My plan is to rent the 3rd Floor and am looking at options to extend the wifi. The 2nd Floor is unavailable.

Will a 2 pack Deco X50 suffice? Is the signal strong enough to penetrate upwards 2 floors?

If the wifi isnt strong enough, can i later on pull an LAN cable from the Deco on the ground floor to the 3rd floor and use it that way to make sure both floors have coverage?

Thanks guys!
