Sounds real good, but the best next thing is the TP Link AC3150 v2, which will set you back at least RM720.
Too little budget bro. You won’t get something decent for that amount unfortunately. Increase your budget to at least double that then you can get better.

unfortunately i am very tight on budget now as i am moving to my new apartment. reno, furniture,... blah blah blah... u know la.

so i am not a tech savvy person. my unit is only a 2 bedroom 900+sqft apartment. as long as the wifi is stable, signal can cover both room and can support up to 100mbps, i'm ok with it.

so if i stick to RM200 budget, what is your best recommendation?
if let's say i double the budget, then what is your recommendation?

Thank you

Ok bro, fair enough. But, if you are moving to a new apartment, there will be multiple wireless networks so you will need a router that can support AC, which will support speeds of up to 100Mbps easily.

If you stick with RM200 budget, I recommend you get this:

But, this router does not support AC, so it is up to you.

If you double your budget to RM400, you can get a decent router that support AC:

I would recommend this router as it support AC and would be more than enough for your 2 bedroom 900 sqft apartment, plus it would be able to support up to 100Mbps.

Alternatively, you can try Asus router, which is not bad as well. I would suggest the Asus RT-1200G, or the Asus RT-AC58U, which is better, so it is up to you.

Thank you!

Mind explaining what's the main difference between a router that support AC and one that does not?

If you are not chasing for AC connection, you can try TL-WR841HP or TL-WR941HP. Nice wireless coverage.
