Should be able to work as bro blacktubi said. Get the WPA8630KIT from the link I sent to you and you’ll be fine.

You should be able to download from the router itself. Log into your router locally, and go to firmware upgrade and search for a firmware upgrade and update it from there.

You are able to connect to the internet normally, so should be able to update, and sync the time with the NTP server. Just wait for Tp Link MY to reply to you.

Hi bro, it is only for US firmware unfortunately and TP Link does have a disclaimer that if there are any warranty issues and your firmware does not correspond on what is released for your local version, it voids the warranty so I wouldn’t update the firmware yet until it is released for the Malaysian website.

Bro I don’t want to be the messenger that brings you bad news but the C2600 has reached it’s EOL or end of life in Malaysia and I don’t think they will issue any firmware update for it here. But, if you dare and if you are desperate, you can wait for the firmware update to be released in USA, and flash to USA firmware that fixes the problem.

I know, so far my C2600 still in good working condition without chromecast, no issue so far with chromecast audio (touch-wood). Worst I might just get a 3150 or 5400 once Times broadband hit my condo.

They do have the EU version (which is what we use) on the FAQ.

Just updated mine (unifi EU V1) to the beta firmware. It wipes out all your settings, so before upgrading, make sure you keep your unifi username and password handy.

Turns out the unifi specific firmware makes the router way shittier than it already is. After upgrading to the beta firmware, I noticed two big thing:
1. I no longer have to deal with the shitty @unifi thing on my SSID. It's no longer there.
2. There's a check for update button on the firmware settings page.

Waiting for the Malaysian specific update might take a while (and there's two version locally, the TM and Time version), so if you're comfortable dealing with your router settings, I dont see any issue with upgrading with the firmware they provided. If shit go south, just flash the old firmware back.

Oh bro, they updated the FAQ. There wasn’t an EU version then, only the US version. Thank you for the feedback though. If it helps, the definitely upgrade to the EU version.

During the connection got wifi, once you start setup with chromecast, it kills almost c2600 wifi immediately.

Yes, it is indicative of the Chromecast issue. Google will be issuing a patch soon, later today or tomorrow at the latest, local time. See here: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/01/18/ch...t_flooding_fix/
