Anyone know which model of PCIe or PCI Wifi card comes with low-profile bracket? seems can't find any information on TP-LInk website.

Thanks.

Dear all,

just recently updated to 100Mbps, what would you recommend?

TPLink Archer C5 or C1200? which one is more stable?

Currently using TM's Dlink DIR-850 (the cylinder) in which my connection is so so unstable, one minute u get 100mbps next minute you'll get like 20mbps.
Note* my router is just outside my room so the signal is always full.

A million thanks in advance smile.gif

Most forumer will recommend c5 over c1200. But, my advice is, you can get archer c7 for better performance. I will suggest c5 for you. Im using stock c1200 provided by unifi.

If you on budget, you can choose c5.
If you want slightly better in performance, then choose c7.

archer c5 would cost around rm338 - lazada
archer c7 would cost around rm395 - Archer C7
Archer C7 - Best offer

I believe those who purchase the recent version of c7 (v4) gets new interface of the pre-loaded firmware.

Definitely bro. It’s a brand new firmware, with improved antennae and internal hardware is better as well with the v4, as compared to the v2.

for the time being i setup as access point which is not my main purpose of buying it.

It can be used as an access point of your house my friend. If you have an ethernet cable, you can do some wiring on top of the ceiling and connect the m5 deco to it. be sure you make it function as WPA2 personal only.

Hi,

You will have to retain your existing router in addition to the Deco system.

Thanks

Check your WiFi setting for "Group Key Update Period". If it is a number other than 0, when the key is changing, you will experience this effect. Change it to 0, the key will not change, so you will not get this effect.
