Modern AC models doesn't seem to be affected.

I believe this is due to a better implementation of WPA2 by TP-Link now.

Hi, I have a suspicion, how can I configure DNS(IPv6) in my TP-Link TD-W8961N modem because I configure IPv4 setting in streamyx account page already but I do't have found any IPv6 related setting in the page.
So how can I configure this setting??? confused.gif confused.gif

Will TP-LINK update the latest stable dropbear SSH 2017.75?

I don't get the point, what's the benefit behind this;

'Added a suffix "@unifi" on SSID (WiFi Name), included in Guest SSID.'

Yup brainless shit. I had to roll back the firmware after various complain by user....Having to reconnect to a different ssid.

Wtf is @unifi.

halo..

I live in a condo. My router place at the living room. I'm experiencing weak signal in the master bedroom.

1) Powerline can boost the signal in my master bedroom?
2) I see the 2 adapters are difference.
3) I have survey the price, powerline cost more than RM100? any cheaper alternative?
4) Anybody use powerline before? stable?
5) Condo should be single phase power right?

1) Yes.

2) I'm assuming that you meant one is just powerline, the other one will come with wireless function.

3) Yes, powerline cost more than RM100. Cheaper alternative is extender, but with that price, you can't really get a good extender.

4) Yes, it's stable but only if your place is single phase power. Some can support three phase but you won't really know until you test it out.

5) You will have to test it out yourself as each condo is different.

Thanks for the explanation.

Not really sure for your condo, but I would think that it’s single phase.

some guys suggested me that it starts from the fuse box, if 1 main fuse then "likely" is single phase, and 3 fuses are triple phased

a little help for me also, currently my wifi coverage at 2nd flr of my home stands at around -75dBm, anyways can low costly improve the coverage? like changing my wifi antenna from 5dB ones to 8dB ones from tp link, will that help?

Hi, I have a Archer C7, the WiFi lights does not turn on automatically when I power off and on again, I have to turn the unit on and off several times before the WiFi light turns back on, is there something wrong with the hardware or I need to change some setting or firmware. Thanks

Deco M5 not Unifi supported due to it don't have Vlan setting, it can only use as an access point or secondary router.

Mayb you can call their Tech support or bring it to TP-LINK service center at low yat for them to check for you, it's hard to say it's hardware issue or software issue.

Upgrade the firmware. If still can’t, try a hard reset. You will need your PPPoE username and password and reconfigure everything if you do a hard reset.

If it’s still not working, go to TP-Link service centre for warranty claim.

Hi guys. I just receive free router from tm. I believe it is the c1200 from tplink. As mentioned by other forumer about the boot time of c1200, i do agree. However, I want to ask the sifus who is currently using c1200, is it worth to upgrade to recent firmware or stay as it is? I kept away my archer c7 away for future use.
