Even though the LED failure issue is covered by warranty, it's just unacceptable how a flagship phone can fail like this. WTF, Samsung? My S3's notification LED works just fine until today. I don't want the SC to remove the phone components and compromise the water resistance or damage my clear coat.

Great news! After my notification LED broke (and the phone was in the service centre for 2.5 days) now my phone is suffering from call echo problem!
Any call I make to landline or cell, the person on the other side will hear their voice echo! Precisely the kind of quality I expect from a RM3700, 2 month old phone! This post has been edited by ttztorc: Jun 5 2017, 07:22 PM |

QUOTE(Nick Zelos @ Jun 5 2017, 10:55 PM) I foresee more people will be experiencing the same in the coming months. The S8+ is a great phone. However many of the components are substandard. It's quite clear Samsung rushed this phone (shall I mention Bixby?!) So, a big huge F-U to Samsung, seriously. What a glorious f*ckup. |

QUOTE(ganjeneu @ Jun 6 2017, 02:17 PM) My notification LED also spoiled last week, they repaired it within a day, but I only noticed back of the phone got scratches on the edge side For mine when it was returned the battery went weird. It would charge to 100% but remain charing for a good while before the LED would turn green on the phone and wireless charger. But hey I must warn you, apparently this isn't the place to discuss S8 faults because other people don't have issues with their phones /s This post has been edited by ttztorc: Jun 6 2017, 02:25 PM |
