Since you thinking of Mate 9. You shall consider S8+ instead of S8 because S8 is very small even though it is size of 5.8" as the screen is long.

Battery life in S8+ is great for me.

Actually flat or curve I am accept but if not near edge to edge display phone is not for me start from this year.

I 10 years not using whatever kind of SP. I know it is extra protection but you using it means you forever cannot get the actual feel at all and it looks not nice to me as normatter how great they do is still an extra plastic/glass on top.

Kuli, you haven't full power yet lei, why this year so slow. Last year earlier earlier you already posting "eye candy" photo.

This year S8/S8+ already V6 but you still so behind oh... come come faster post. Desperate waiting on it!

Finally I find a better and balance sound output. I can't accept all Samsung preset where all somewhere not right to me.

This preset I find it nice for following headset

• Bose SoundSport Wireless Headset
• Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro
• Bundle AKG tunes Headset (finally it is listenable now but don't expect strong bass)

Nope to me. The no equalizer sound flat, not smooth, no bass, totally flat with over treble and the bundle AKG sound too high pitch in no equalizer setup and unlistenable at all.

The bundle AKG still sound bad just it became a bit listenable after tunes in equalizer.

I actually set the equalizer base on my Bose SoundSports and I find it sound very great now, at least it is on pair or better with iPhone 7 Plus no equalizer need sound quality.

By the way the Mi Piston is not Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro. I had both and both is in different sound stage quality.

I don't have AKG K553 Pro, can't comment and this is big headset not in ear. I just remember i forgot test it on my big headset. Testing now. Haha. Done test - as usual not enough power to push up very high volume. I need to open up to 100% volumes on Sennheiser HD518. Without equalizer will make the Sennheiser HD518 much louder but a bit too much treble already. I am actually regret buy this Sennheiser HD518 as it is too heavy and not very suitable for mobile phone. It sound better when plugin to PC or HiFi set. I am targetting Sony MDR-1000X to replace it. This headset is so far the best sound quality to me. It even better than Bose QuietComfort 35 to me for big headset.

Anyway all is user preferable. My preferable always need strong Mid, strong bass and fine smooth treble. I hate high treble, flat sound with lousy mid and flat bass, some headset got bass but not strong is where I can't accept. I need strong bass where not overlap the mid as well. Some headset is strong bass but overlap the mid is unacceptable to me as well. Also I am extremely particular on hissing, noise & distortion sound. I am not audiophile but I believe I am very tricky on my own need preferable sound quality.
