I am driving old triton, stocks speakers damaged and i changed the front speakers to 2way speakers, rear changed to midbass type. car player is kenwood KDC-MP5039. Despite i tuned all kind of the settings, the bass still very low, seems cant kick out unless i increased the vol VERY big! do i need to add amplifier to enhance it ?

QUOTE(kohchuup @ Jun 23 2017, 09:34 AM) u got to know your hu power output and your speaker power input and damping factor bro, currently ur speakers are too hard for your hu to drive, so either u go back to the shop to swap to easier to drive components or add an amp. Noted and thanks for those advice. Just wondering why those car accessories kids didn't advise me on the spot! Nvm, I will add a cheap amp to try it.
