hey guys.....
i have some questions...
wat if our aquarium is make of part cement part glass?? imagine our aquarium got 4 walls plus a base...so 3 walls and the base is made from cement and one wall put glass.....i believe cement tank can bring down the water temp lower naturally...somemore the cement texture dun make it smooth...make it lubang lubang like this...like "cave" to let the shrimps to hide or stay.....but i wonder cement tank can make the water too acidic or alkaline?

but i did made a full cement tank myself when i was in form 2 like this....ownself campur cement...and my cement wall inside got reinforcement...put metal rod to grab the cement strongly...of course with help of my dad on the tank's mold...nvr crack for few years...i use tat to keep my goldfish and i place it outside the porch where morning kena sunlight...and the water is rain water....guess one...i'm not bluffing..my goldfish grew very fat...till one day i put them inside a pile with tap water cause i wanted to change the tank water..they died...maybe was because of chlorine...lol....i broke tat tank and threw away..
anyway..it was just an idea....lol.....nvr plan to build the cement tank again...campur cement using bare hand.....it dem tiring okay!!lol
edited: i lowered down my fans already...lol....but not till 1inch from water...around 2 inches plus like this...let's see how....with tat height...the wind from fan can cause water movement...so i guess is okay

haha..alot of new shrimpers i think...all got poison..from normal planted tank with fish become planted tank with shrimps....
Added on March 15, 2009, 5:47 pmhmm...cucumber is floating on the water surface..how to make it sink? or i do really need to tie it with stone? hmmmm
snails infected!!!!i cannot tahan...
btw...do i need to peel off the cucumber skin?

hmm..i dun think going to make the trap using the bottle....mine is nano tank..so i see that there is no space for me to put the trap...just wan to throw in the cucumber..but it keeps on floating!!!!argh!!
my cherry shrimps give birth to 5 shrimplets...lol..cute
