nope. you need to provide photo of ic, driving license, and insurance cover note of your car. and they will verify. now you even need to go to the centre to finalize the registration. if only simple process like u say, uber aldi die long time ago.

Yup. whenever i see driver accepting my ping below 4 stars i cancel.

4.0 is my bare minimum. there must be reason for the rating to drop below 4 and i am not gonna waste my time and money to find out why.

What is the star for a new driver ?

I did not think of that. Come to think of it, I usually give high rating if the driver performs what he is supposed to do, i.e., driving safely and don't show me crap face like I owe him a living. To get low rating means many of his passengers think he is no good.

i have no idea and i have no interest to find out.
i am paying good money here to be driven to my destination so i expect the driver to be of certain quality, wich will be reflected by ratings given by other riders before me.

That being said, in all my rides i have always given 5 stars even if they drove a rickety old axia, as long as the driver is not the annoying type.

some they say they can do everything online and no need go training. i not sure why they can bypass these. maybe some irresponsible staff do it so they can get incentive out of it for registering new driver. maybe this is the loophole u saying.
