Q : WHY CALLED FAT TAILED GERBIL ?
A : COZ THEIR TAIL IS HAIRLESS (ALMOST HAIRLESS) & IS STUMPY FAT , BUT CAN
STORE FOOD N WATER TO SURVIVE WHEN IT COMES TO SCARCITY PERIOD!
FAT TAILED GERBIL 'S CHARACTERISTIC
-->Fat tailed gerger are quiet animal.
-->Fat tailed gerger also lazy animal.
-->Fat tailed gerger also odourless .
-->Fat tailed gerger also active at nite.
-->They are not like other gerbils so active , they limits their activities to the
absolute necessities.
-->Fat tailed gerger rarely bite the handler ( bite also like nibble , when they feel
threatened)
-->Reproduction is not that successful due to they are not that sociable . They are in
fact solitary animals! You might give a try , keep them 3 or 4 in a very large
space home ...
gal n boy need to meet each other in much the same way as Syrian hamham.
FAT TAILED GERBIL 'S APPEARANCE
--> 1 OF THE CUTEST LOOKING GERBIL!
--> Have dark , oval eyes , blink blink so round n big eyes!
--> Have short legs.
--> They are 3.5 -4 inches long , 40-50 gram weight.
--> Their hairs of their coat are short and soft , slightly longer than other gerbils.
-->The coat are sandy coloured with a slight ticking and the belly is white . The coat
is a natural camouflage on the dessert they live.
