im on Unifi 100 Mbps. Been Using Asus RT-AC55UHP placed in my study room at first floor of my double story house. Signal is good on both 1st and ground floor. I have my android minix u9 media play and chromecast 5ghz in living room downstairs. Streaming is good without buffering.

Initially i had TP link AV500 Nano powerline adapter which extends the LAN to ground floor through the powerline. I used this with intention to use LAN for my minix android box to have max speed. But the streaming is not really good. I cant stream unifi tv and Kodi contents smoothly. One fine day, decided to test over wifi (5GHZ) and im surprised with the results. So now both my chromecast and android box streaming via 5ghz wifi connection flawlessly. Asus RT-AC55UHP is a good investment which works beyond expectation. You may consider it.
