Basic Requirement:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder from Computer Science/Information Technology, or computer related field.
2. At least 2 year(s) of working experience specializing in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent is required for this position.
3. Applicants must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang.
4. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Melayu.
Accountabilities
1. Responsible to provide local helpdesk support and troubleshooting to end users in the organization for all IT related issues.
2. Installation of operating system, applications and software (e.g.: MS Project, Acrobat Adobe Professional, MS Office, Microsoft Windows and etc.).
3. To provide simple user training and on-going end users support.
4. Accountable to resolve all reported IT issues as per SLA defined.
5. Ability to work after office hours for emergency incidents and outages.
6. To delivered projects according to strict deadlines, within budget and according to plan.
7. Follow up with external party closely for issues that requires their assistance/support.
8. Knowledge and experience in Windows Server Management and programming language (any: PHP/.NET etc.) is an added advantage.
Skills/Qualifications
1. In depth knowledge of maintaining desktop computers, printers and peripheral hardware/software.
2. In depth knowledge and experience supporting in Windows Server Management, Microsoft Windows 7 and above, MS Office and VPN.
3. Familiarity with network concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
4. Working knowledge with infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, hardware, security, network, end user and server / wed related applications).
5. Communication skills both written and verbal for interaction with team(s), end-user(s) and external party.
6. Strong with implementation, problem solving, priority setting and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure and result oriented.
8. Patience and flexibility.
9. Desire and ability to increase knowledge and technical expertise through daily jobs as well as self-study.
