Dear all,
Firstly, we would like to thank those who had participated in the survey mentioned earlier. However, we will still need more people to participate and if you could spread the news around with friends, families or other collectors of Rally Car, we would be very grateful. This is because we want to encourage our publisher to bring in collection similar to this range, and of good quality.
We will send an email notification to all participants of the survey by next week.
Also, for those looking for Rally Car Issue #7, we would suggest to give us a call at 03-5638 2208 (ask for our customer service) and please let them know which retailer you would like to purchase the copy from so that we can help you to complete your collection. We are still waiting for our stocks coming from HK and thus, it will take time to reach Malaysia. Your patience is most appreciated.
Furthermore, we noticed that many did not like issue #4. Could you share with us why so?
Thanks again!
Regards,

I'm more of a WRC fan than a scale model collector and thus so far collected all 8 issues. I have a couple of colleagues that also skipped #4, and here's their reasoning and my own personal opinion
1. The Audi Quattro though one of the most successful WRC teams to implement 4wd technology, is almost unheard of in Malaysia. Except for a handful of petrol heads, many didn't even know that Audi raced in WRC and could initially thought that it was a private entry.
2. The Audi's appearance somehow looks incomplete with the numerous and obvious blank HB-International sponsor logos without the wordings, similar to the earlier released Evo VI without the "Marlboro" words on the logo. And when put next to the other units, it does initially look like the paintwork is dull even though its actually the color combination (even on the real E2) that creates this optical illusion.
3. Due to the car's simple color combination and spaced out sponsor decals, it is the easiest unit of all to spot poor paintwork and misaligned decals. For example, there were about 8 other Audis on the shelf when I bought mine, and it took me less than a minute to filter through all to get what I perceived was the best unit. However, even mine still has clear indications of paintwork irregularities in a glance.
Nonetheless, I'm still grateful to you guys for bringing in some of the most significant rally cars here.
