Hi From My humble opinion I guess here in Malaysia we didn't get much exposure about rally cars that competed in the 70's and the 80's, thus less fans of vintage rally cars. But I did buy the issue No.4 and I love vintage and classic race cars. I hope regardless of the popularity you will still continue to bring the vintage and classic rally cars in your issues. Again these were legendary race cars which made path for the evolution of the current rally cars. So for Rally/Motorsports fans I guess all the cars in the collection does look very interesting to collect.
Thank you
I myself didn’t even know that Group B existed, until Donut Media made an Up To Speed video on the series.
P.S: This is from Issue 28.
Total race wins for Group B cars.
Audi Quattro (A1, A2, Sport S1 and E2) - 17 wins
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 - 16 wins (won the last championship for the series.)
Lancia 037 Rally - 6 wins
Toyota Celica twin cam turbo - 6 wins
Lancia Delta S4 - 4 wins (1985 GB Rally and 1986 Monte Carlo Rally being the notable ones.)
Renault 5 Maxi Turbo - 3 wins.
Other Group B cars that were unfortunately not as successful were the:
Opel Manta 400
Nissan 240RS (Silvia)
Porsche 911SC RS (formed the basis for the 959)
Mazda RX7
MG/Rover Metro 6R4
Ford RS200 (same shape as Lancia’s 037, but was AWD and had 550bhp)
Citroen BX4TC
Ferrari 288 GTO (not too sure on that...)
